Happy one-year anniversary to Stamplfi Mortgage’s team member, Alex Burden. Oh, what a year it has been! He moved to a new state, started a new job, obtained his NMLS license, got promoted, tied the knot, bought a brand-new house, and the list goes on.
Last summer, Alex relocated to Madison, Wisconsin from Columbia, Missouri where he worked for a large national lender. His fiancé at the time, Allison, was his motivation for the move. She had accepted a Technical Solutions Engineering position with Epic and would be working at their corporate headquarters in Verona, WI.
Although Alex enjoyed his job and was allowed to work remotely, he quickly realized he missed the comradery of working in an office setting. He enjoyed the mortgage industry and began searching for local mortgage companies. During his quest, he stumbled upon a local, family-owned, independent mortgage company…Stampfli Mortgage. They were located right in Verona, Wisconsin. He noticed that Stampfli Mortgage didn’t have any job postings. But that didn’t stop him from reaching out to the owner, Jason Stampfli. And the rest, as they say, is history.
With his previous mortgage experience and a go-getter attitude, Alex was a great candidate for a Mortgage Assistant with Stampfli Mortgage. They had been planning to hire, but Alex beat them to the punch. Within a few short months, he obtained his NMLS license for Wisconsin and was later promoted to a licensed Mortgage Loan Specialist. This allows him to help clients streamline the application and pre-approval process. Propelling his career in 12 short months is only part of Alex’s story though.
On July 9, 2022, Alex wed the girl of his dreams. They were surrounded by friends and family as they celebrated in Allison’s hometown of St. Louis, MO. While planning a wedding, the couple also decided to begin the process of buying a new home. A new construction home that would be ready just weeks after they returned from their honeymoon. Never a dull moment!
Alex has packed a lot into the last year. It will be exciting to watch him continue to grow. He has already proven to be a true asset and a great team member at Stampfli Mortgage. His recent home purchase gives him valuable first-hand experience. He truly understands what his clients are going through as they search for a new homes.
